Changes in storage rules in the warehouse
24.12.2020As a result of the recent growing interest of consumers in online shopping in the world and in our country, and the serious impact of the COVID-19 virus on daily life of people in late 2019 and 2020, the number of those who prefer online shopping peaked with November discounts. There were some delays in entry and inspection of more orders than expected. The main reason for these delays is that many customers miss invoice information when filling out declaration on our website, and as a result, process of determining value of parcels takes more time. However, due to increasing number of orders and the impact of the pandemic, restrictions on free movement of customers resulted in overcrowding in our warehouse, which led to protests from our customers.
As you know, we have been actively campaigning in recent days to eliminate the overcrowding in Baku warehouse and to accept new packages in Baku warehouse. As of 22.12.2020, only 513 people used the 1000 free courier order limit for users whose products were in Baku warehouse, and only 596 people used the 2000 free courier order limit for users whose products were in Baku warehouse on 23.12.2020. In order to avoid delays and timely delivery of new packages to customers, the following changes will be applied to the storage conditions in Baku warehouse from 25.12.2020:
-The storage period of parcels in Baku warehouse is reduced to 3 days
-After 3 days, the product will be sent to the main warehouse for storage
-The status of "Main Depo" will be reflected in front of the products sent to the warehouse in your personal account
-The customer can return the product sent to the main warehouse in the "Return to Baku warehouse" section in his personal account
-Products will be returned from the main warehouse to Baku warehouse within 2 days
-The customer will receive an SMS notification about the returned product
-The product will be stored in Baku warehouse for 24 hours from the moment of receiving SMS notification.
-For products returned to Baku warehouse and not delivered within 24 hours, customer must pay 2 (two) times shipping fee.
It should be noted that the reason for making these changes is to eliminate the congestion in the warehouse, accept next parcels in Baku warehouse and hand them over to owners as soon as possible. By ordering your product by courier and handing it over from our Baku warehouse, you will help other customers' parcels to be delivered as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding.
